Does a heavier object really have more kinetic energy at the same speed?

If a bowling ball and a tennis ball are rolling at the same speed, does the bowling ball really have more kinetic energy?

Yes. Kinetic energy is ½ mv², so at the same speed it grows in step with mass: twice the mass carries twice the kinetic energy. Speed matters even more, because it is squared, so doubling the speed gives four times the energy.

Yes. Kinetic energy is KE = ½mv² - for the same speed v, a larger mass m directly means more kinetic energy. That’s exactly why a bowling ball does a lot more damage than a tennis ball moving at the same speed.
